Hey,
Today, we are going to talk about something interesting, in context to Aesthetics.
It is called the Aesthetic Usability Effect.
What is it?
It is said that users often perceive aesthetically pleasing design as design that’s more usable. It also states that users are more tolerant of minor usability issues when they find an interface visually appealing
Aesthetically pleasing interfaces are worth the investment. Visual designs that appeal to your users have the side effects of making your site appear orderly, well designed, and professional.
Users are more likely to want to try a visually appealing site, and they’re more patient with minor issues.
Why do I need to know?
A Research[2] led by B.J. Fogg shows that many factors affect people’s trust towards a website, but the most prominent issue is design.
So, when are you updating your websites? Or your bias?
