Hey,
Today, We will be talking about the Interoceptive bias 🥗.
What is it?
When sensory inputs of our body affect our judgement tendency regarding external activities.
Example -
Parole judges are more lenient when fed and rested. Their instincts for getting food activate. Which means that the whole body and thinking are now partly controlled by this mood. [1]
Where does it occur?
When you are hungry, you will notice it happening. People often get annoyed or see a change in their mood, doing the work.
Why do I need to know?
Because your body needs energy & is biased by the sensory inputs trigger, it is better not to take decisions or do things which you might regret later.
Takeaways:-
Your body’s sensory input and triggers by them can make you biased towards activities you are performing.
