Hey Reader,
A few days back, I wrote about one of the fallacies called the Free Speech Fallacy.
One of the fine members of our community reached out to me about how there was a possibility that the fallacy was being looked at from one perspective only.
In the broader context, the thing we were addressing was that there could be many viewpoints, contexts, and perspectives, individually tied to a topic which we discuss each week in this newsletter.
Every time I write, the goal has always been to clearly define, address the issue & what it is all about while trying my best to not get cornered to any of the 'sides' as these can form avenues for potential debates.
There are times during my research I somehow miss out on different contexts of the same story because of reasons like lack of content availability, time crunch, non-legit resources.
Hopefully, all the issues addressed so far have been transparent and clear enough for you to decide in what sense to absorb it.
Addressing our biases is the first step to overcoming them. We can together learn a lot about psychology from here.
Is this form of open discussion about general psychology something you liked? Please feel free to write to let me know.
I plan to go a bit deeper into such areas and help you not limit yourself to only the knowledge of biases, effects, or fallacies.
With that acknowledged, I hope you have a great week.
My best wishes for the rest of the year!
