Hello,
Let’s talk about The Shopping Hungry Fallacy.
What is it?
Making stupid but important decision in the heat of the moment under the influence of strong emotion.
Where does it occur?
Trevor Noah, (2016) host of the Daily Show on American television attributes public approval of draconian measures in the Patriot Act and the creation of the U. S. Department of Homeland Security to America's "shopping hungry" immediately after 9/11. [1]
Why do I need to know?
Sometimes, Because of the environment, under influence of certain things, people, there could rise situations where you would have to make certain decision and you may take it thinking ‘what can go wrong’ but 1% of yourself would know that this can probably be a bad idea.
