Why people don’t continue with therapy
Psych 🧠 - 508/1000
Hey reader 👋
A lot of people don’t stop therapy because therapy “doesn’t work.”
They stop because life gets in the way.
Finding the right therapist feels exhausting. Scheduling becomes difficult. Follow-ups disappear. Motivation fluctuates. Sometimes, people simply don’t want to figure everything out alone while already struggling mentally.
I’ve been thinking deeply about this while building FirstTherapy.
That’s why I recently started something called FirstTherapy Concierge.
A more guided, hands-on approach to helping people navigate therapy and mental health support with less friction.
Not just access. But continuity.
I invite you to take a look and would love to hear your thoughts!
Warm regards,
Vaibhav
