great piece on why we should make mistakes!

I find that societal's need for win/lose, competitions and how media glorifies the winners don't help us learn the importance of making mistakes.

Too many times, this brings out the desire for vanity, jealousy, greed, the 7 sins in us, preventing this stage of learning.

Thank you for sharing your take on this, marilyn. I believe for some of the people, it is ingrained from an early age that “Mistakes are bad” or “Failure is bad”.

Instead, if only they taught that failure is more of lesson in disguise, things might’ve been different.
